That engine, even if the torque curve is improved, sounds like poo.
I would actually be embarrassed to have my 85k+ (probably MSRP on the M4) car sound like a prius.
Maybe BMW will find a way to "enhance" the sound with some fake external speakers lol.

No way I'm giving up my E92 for this thing!!!!

I'll be honest and say this new generation 328/428 335/435 look a lot better than when the E9x first debuted, but I'm not sold on their M variants.

I usually like new designs on most cars, but I hate this. I will never get used to the new front end/headlight combo. Rear 3/4 looks fine, but... Meh. :-/

Will reserve judgment until I see/hear it live and in another color... am I the only one that thinks that color is hideous?

Some are but I think there are a lot that are just more focused on the details of the car. I've seen plenty of folks expressing their distaste with the color choice. At least it is a ***tiny*** bit better than Phoenix Yellow.

I'm not clear if all the M435i M performance parts (suspension and such) are actually from the M3/4, but I wonder how close a tuned M435i M-Sport will be to the M4. Probably closer than a tuned E92 335i was to the E92 M3. On the other hand a tuned M4 will have gobs more HP than a tuned E9xM3.

Very curious about the rumored 3rd turbo. It could be the game changer that sets this TT6 apart from every other big HP TT6 out there.

I also wonder if the M button will do more than just remember settings. It could conceivably have a different "map" that unleashes more HP at the expense of streetability and MPG. THAT would be very cool.

I guess we have to wait until they share what's actually inside the sheetmetal. And oh yeah, it's pretty hot! A touch more boy racer, but just enough class to make it a BMW.

It looks like the E92 M3 and the 1M had an offspring and the M4 is the result.
