To Pose ........or not to Pose
That is the question..........
I was lurking around some other forums just reading for entertainment and I came across a thread about Brembo brake covers. I personally think they look cool as hell, especially in sky blue and lime green. Is it to "poser-ish" to want to make your brakes look good without investing 6-7k into the real deal? I do not do any/many track events so I dont need the extra braking power. Your thoughts |

I think its ricey. Just remember that its a 70k car, not a 7k civic (no offense to any civic owners out there, just saying) my $0.02 Plus, I heard they melt after a while...but whatever floats your boat I guess, everyone has their own taste. If your just going to eventually get bbk's sometime later, might as well get a head start? *shrug* Other wise just paint em red or something.. |

what the point of getting BBK when you don't take it to the track?
i say get the covers and roll it on the street, its just as poser as having BBK and not using them. |

People upgrade to Brembos for performance, not looks. Fake Brembo covers = Epic fail .

I say go for it. Its your car, do what you like. Its idiotic dropping 8k on a BBK just to get some color behind your wheels when your not gonna track at all.
