For one reason only : Ridiculous low end torque which makes it more usable in daily driving. In track use, obviously M3 would be the better of two.

Gonna get flamed, but I like Alpina's work.
I see this as a more refined alternative to the M. Don't get me wrong -- my personal preference would be to own an M car over Alpina. However, Alpina has always carried a more luxurious connotation with it... In my mind anyway. |

I bought a base corvette coupe...modified the hell out of it and had 700 hp. However, it was never a z06 or Zr1....Same with the B3 (the B stands for Bullshit). Want a fast car? buy the best then modify from there.......stick with a M3...
