Yes it is well worth the cost, I bought it for ~$400 on ebay in April 2007 (initially for my 335i E93) from a BMW Dealer in Austin, Texas

Wind Blocker works great and stops the "back-draft" wind from entering the cockpit; it actually quiets the cockpit a little, then by raising the side windows it gets even quieter

I hate you, the weather looks so good and I have to brace for at least 6-7 months of cold and snow. Nice car by the way - pictures look good

the car looks beautiful, and I am loving the 18's and the color combo. I wont comment on the weather since it has been in the 50's in the morning and then 60's-70's in the day here in florida so it is absolutely perfect.

And the full hood VentureShield is barely noticeable (just at the air intake cutouts). Although the installer used 3M Clear Bra on the bumper and fenders (and rear of mirrors and door handle cups); he claimed it was more durable than VS. Now the wait to see if either product discolors in the intense AZ sun

Great pics - Congrats on the E93. I have not seen many cabs with the 18" but it looks sharp on the AW. +1 on not showing the brake dust, but then again it gives us more reason to wash the car again.

Did you drive the car back from SC? If so, must have been a memorable drive to spend the first day+ on the roads.

Enjoy!

How long was the drive from SC? And what route did you take? I am planning on doing the same drive for my next car, just gotta decide on the car!

Very nice photos, congrats on your M

Thanks, I really like the 18"s and the ride is probably a little nicer (in comfort mode that is)
Yes, my son and I drove the M3 from SC to AZ (top down most of the way), but had to stop in Oklahoma City (Jackie Cooper BMW) for the mandatory 1,200 mile service; so yes we took the I-40 Northern route vs the Southern I-10 (was told there was a lot of construction on I-10). Took 2.5 days and we dutifully kept the speed below 100mph and the revs below 5,400rpm.

Thanks. Well we actually had rain in normally sunny and warm southern AZ today; and the temps dropped all the way down to the low 60sF. Supposedly rain again tomorrow for turkey day

Good luck with the clear bra. I had full custom VS wrap on hood, bumper mirrors and fenders and it dsicolored.. I ended up getting it taken off and getting a full refund back.

Just curious, what AZ company did your VS install? How many months before your noticed any discoloration? Was your car parked outside or garaged?

BTW, signup for this April 2009 European auto tour through a less traveled part of AZ (you'll love it): http://www.beataz.com/
This past year there were ~160 cars that participated

Effective 2009 AZ has a new law that the word ARIZONA that is printed at the top center of the license plate MUST be visible or you get a ticket (yeah, can you believe it?). As you might guess, most AZ dealer's plate brackets cover that top part of a license plate, hence they violate the new law.

The Honolulu BMW plate holder was an exception, so I'm using it. I own a condo at Ko Olina and picked up the bracket during my last on-island visit
