as nice as it is and sounds ... I'm happy with my ///M in STOCK condition ... except for mats, tinted windows and perhaps a set of summer wheels and performance rear spoiler yet to be added

the power of the 4.6 is a "wannahave" but I don't think that it sounds different to a stock 4.0.

What makes me sad is that BMW M division could have kept this wonderful V8 motor - stroked it out at the factory - ECU Tune - X Pipe etc....take the thing up to 450Hp land in the new M3/M4 cars...I know that doesn't get them the fuel economy numbers they wanted but we could have had one more generation of V8 goodness in what is supposedly a lighter and more rigid car. More power in a lighter car...oh how I wish some of the damn regulations would ease up a bit.

Forced Induction is cool but keeping the NA motor in the M3/M4 would have been really nice.

Maybe I should whine about it some more.

Not to sound like a downer but I kind of agree. There were people walking, cycling and other drivers on the road. Either way it sounds sick and nice job on the build. Stay safe!
