Maintenance Between e46 and e92

I was wondering if anyone could tell me out if experience the maintenance (not repair that could be covered under an extended warranty) cost difference between an e46 and e9x. I'm looking to keep an M3 upwards of 100,000-150,000 miles for a daily driver and curious to know the difference in price along the way

I've owned the e46 m3. Great car. Valves have to be adjusted every 15000 Kms (schedule 2) and it gets pricey. E9x do not require this service hence making serving much cheaper.
