Dropped on H&R springs and spacers

Finally got my ride. First mod was to add H&R springs (thanks Long Tran) and 12mm spacers all around. I chose 12mm because I didn't want any rubbing issues, and after measuring the clearance in the rear, it looks like 15mm spacers would cause some rubbing on the plastic liner. I also went with 12mm in the front to keep things balanced.

Just washed, polished, and waxed (with Blitz One Grand Carnuba wax).

Enjoy.

Car in stock form upon delivery.

Ride is not bad. Slightly stiffer than stock. In normal/comfort mode it is less noticeable, but in sport it is more pronounced. The roads in LA are terrible which also makes it more noticeable. On smooth highways it is hard to tell the difference. The car is definitely lower though. I scrape all the time on driveways no matter how slow I go or what angle I approach. I have even come across a few driveways, like my parents house, where I can't even get up! I love the look though. Sitting next to the other stock M3's at work, it looks much better with the lower springs and spacers.

Regarding the spacers, I've tested the rear wheel clearance by backing up a driveway at a sharp angle to really get the wheel to tuck under the fender and it doesn't rub anywhere, but is close to the plastic liner so I think the 15mm would have rubbed for sure.

Looks great. I am thinking this is my next mod. Soon.

Could you take somewhat of a close-up pic of the front wheel only from the side to see how much of a reduced fender gap you have. That would be quite helpful.
Thanks.

I just talked to another e90 M3 owner with 15mm spacers and it indeed causes the OEM 19" tires to rub on the plastic rear fender liner. So, although the 15mm setup looks even better, I don't want to have this problem. I wonder if this happens with the e92 rear fender? I would think so, given that the e90 335i could accomodate a lower offset than the e92 335i.

Perfect!

Amazing what a drop and spacers can do to give the M3 a clean yet aggressive look.

Looks good - I'd be interested to see how it looks after the front end settles in a bit. Think it'll drop a little more?

Maybe. The rear definitely looks lower in relation to the fender than the front. If the front gets any lower though, I'll never be able to get up any driveway since it's already pretty low.

I don't know about lucky. I work in LA, near Beverly Hills. My M3 is probably the lamest car in the parking garage at work. There are Aston Martins, Ferraris, Bentlys, M5s, M6s, SL63s, SL65s, Cayene Turbos up the wazoo, 997 Turbos and Turbo cabs, GTRs. I feel like I'm on welfare compared to these other guys. Then again, VASRACER and I could probably run spank all those guys on a track day.

The only car that would really get me excited if I saw it in the garage would be a Pagoni Zonda F Roadster. That would make me shit.

Yeah, but you usually spank the M3's in your 135i at the track. Dude, if you mod the 135 engine though, you're really gonna murder people at the track.

How was California Speedway? Fun I bet. My bro-in-law went to the Willow Springs event. Was supposed to be some sort of autocross hybrid but it ended up just being time trials on the Streets. I'm jealous. I didn't get to go to Willow or Cal Speedway. With the stupid LA traffic, I think the fastest I've gone in my car this week was 18mph.
