Ok, guys. Whoever is seriously interested in this group buy, we can make this happen whenevers. Mike said that as soon as we can get a group of guys that are FOR SURE down for the GB we can get the party started

. I'm totally down to call the shop that Fen335i recommended and set something up with them for the dyno. Also, regarding the Stage2+VANOS, this is what Mike said,
"There is too much hype about the VANOS tune - the release date is unknown (and even if it will be released in the states at all). It is pretty much untested and has only worked on a few cars of many. I think waiting for the vanos tune would be foolish considering we dont know when or if it will be released."
As for now, this is what our group buy list looks like:

3. Hoeferland
4. Moog55(MAYBE)
5. Fen335i(MAYBE)

hmm. well, i can probably be very happy with the stage II until/if the vanos tune is released. i am really hoping that they'll release the handheld device tho.

i guess you can count me in for the GB.

No results that you are actually able to physically see. J/k! I think we're gonna get our cars dyno'd as well, so it'll be interesting. You should dyno your car too so we can have a completely stock M3 to compare with.

Alright guys, it's all set up

. We'll hold the group flash at Carb Conncections in Kirkland @1pm on Saturday, the 22nd of May. Price is gonna be 120 per vehicle because its considered "custom dyno" work. The guy, Alex, said, and I quote, "In essence, you guys are getting 2 dyno sessions for the price of 1." Regular price is 150/hr for dyno work and we'll get to do as many runs as necessary. Here's the address guys:

Carb Connection

Kirkland, Wa 98034

Hope this is ok for you guys. Reason why I picked Carb Connections is because:
1. Kev suggested it
AND
2. BMW CCA uses it as its official dyno location

Lemme know if anything doesn't seem right. Other then that, we are good to go!!

The CCA is having their "BBQ and Dyno day" at the Carb Connection in early June (I think Johnny Linn posted it). They are giving a nice price break of $75 for 3 dyno runs that day.

I suppose since he is considering this "custom dyno tuning"....that you couldn't bring in your ecu tunes that day and get the $75 price, huh? How many runs do you need to make? 2 before the ecu mod and then 2 afterwards? Could youg et away with doing only 3?
