AA HFC Xpipe installed with OE Tune :)

This is long overdue...

But I had my xpipe installed about a month ago

I had it installed at Gintani and we all loved the sound of the xpipe with the stock muffler.
It's raspy and sounds raw.
I know in the future I will add a muffler system (or sell the AA and get a full Gintani or Akra, hint the AA is a feeler...), but I am very happy with the way it came out

Gintani's rates are very responsible and everyone who worked on my car is a trained BMW tech.

Jeremy@OE Tuning did my custom Dyno tune and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Please click on the links above for my feedback/reviews

They are able to get a consistent 18whp gain or so and ask if I want to try and get some more, and obviously I said yes :P
At the end, I get to leave with a good 20whp gain

In regards to the tune, as soon as I pulled out of the lot I immediately noticed how much smoother the car drives and the quicker throttle response (with or without Power activated).

I have tracked my car a couple of times after the Xpipe and the Tune and I am very happy with the results.

I wish I had done this sooner.... I've had my car for about 7 months and I regret not doing this right after the 1200 mi service!

I recently drove a friend's stock e93 M3 and immediately noticed the decrease in power and acceleration. When I tracked my friends e90 M3, I didn't notice much of a difference in regards to acceleration (weight difference I'm assuming), but I did notice a delay in throttle response and smoothness of power delivery.

I must thank Alex@Alpine for helping set me up with Gintani and OE tuning. Without him, I wouldn't have been able to do this

I have videos, but the camera is with my girl...

Here are a couple of pictures for now

And here's a sketch my girl made of Gintani's E90 M3:

I hate drone

Every car I've driven with a rear muffler has some drone. I can't stand it.

Even a Full Akra has drone in my opinion...but it's tolerable...if I go full set up, I'll be doing a set up with cut outs so that I can push a button and make it stock-ish. but I rather spend $6k on a BBK than on sound.

Plus, when driving normally, you can barely tell I changed the exhaust, only on downshift blips and WOT. Which is what I like.
