Hankook V12 Evo 2
Saw these on the tirerack site. Wondering how good they are going to be, maybe the tirerack guys can chime in.
I am sure they will not be as good as the PSS but a good stop gap for some. Available in the 285/30 size also

I have them and I like them. Good predictable grip when drifting, and surprisingly good wet traction. Relatively soft sidewalls though. I run 40 front 37 rear on 19's to combat understeer. Disclaimer: I haven't had PSS

Sounds similar to the V1 one then, from how you are explaining it.

They do have a soft sidewall compare to the PS2's my care came with. Like the previous post above, I did increase my PSI all around to counter that in comparison to running PS2 tires. They are relatively quiet. Wet traction and grip on dry road is good as well.

We're naturally expecting the V12 Evo 2 to be an upgrade over the original V12 Evo. We have not gotten to test it yet. We will probably get to run them this spring or summer.
Similar to how BMWs are known by chassis code, the original V12 Evo was also known Hankook's code K110. The new one is the K120.

I ordered these but haven't installed them yet. Since my car is supercharged, I'll probably be replacing the rears sooner then later
I will give my feedback once I try them out. |

I got a set of these on order as well. I'm going from stock 19's with PSS to 20" Ericsson Amusa LM-R's with V12 Evo 2. I won't be back in the states til juneish time frame..I'll post a comparison of them when able. Matt at ACM recommended them and I trust him so I'm sure we won't be disappointed.

Unless the compound and construction have changed significantly these will still be pretty far from the PSS. Tons of tread void, even more than the old V12. Good sizes though, and 40% cheaper

Im going to be running 265/295 and im looking at either these or the PSS, the PSS are $350 more, are they worth it over the ventus?
I have PSS on my OEM wheels and love them. Its my DD. Which do you all recommend?
