ML63 for you SUV fans

The X5M is a monster, but I quite prefer the rediculousness of this overpowered Merc SUV with those gaping air intakes and chrome quad-exhausts.

Snapped a few pics in the car was area of the office building.

For all of you SUV people, what do you think? Rather this or an X5M? (And why or why not)?

Also, it is right to compare it to the X6M... out of all three, just based on sound and styling, I would take the X6M... love the look of that car (even though the car itself just doesn't make sense!)

I wonder where the new GL63 will fit in... is that more of an X5M competitor, since the ML was always compared with the X3, and the GL with the X5...

To be honest, I would prefer the G63 to any of them. It's built so well that the others seem like toys in comparison. I also like the quirky looks. I do appreciate any AMG though.

This. If you're going to get a retarded SUV, you might as well go full retard.

Agreed!

There is actually a G65 V12 parked at the Beverly Wilshire that was shipped over from Saudi Arabia with the Pagani Huayra. That is one hell of a ridiculous machine. It actually looks like it should have machine guns coming out of the air intakes and canon on top....

I've always found the ML to look sleeker than the G. The G looks quite ugly to me.

I'd take an ML63 over a G.

Beautiful SUV. Iridium Silver Metallic is such a classic color.

X5M and X6M look too mute to me at times. Most people think there just regular M-sport of there X5/X6 body.

The ML63 with performance package is my choice! (not biased lol) Looks beast! And not like a ML350 lol

Drove one of the new ML63s and they just pick up speed so easily for such a big car!

The X5M looks totally different from the X5 M-sport. The other day, I was following this X5 and wondering why it was so wide and fat and low. Totally different than other X5s. I got closer and realized it was the wife and kids. She floored it and cleaned out some carbon deposits when she realized it was me behind her LOL.

I do like the ML63. We just went X5M this time because we did have an ML500 at one point (before AMG started doing MLs) and it had all sorts of little issues. Having said that, the X5M has all sorts of little issues too. But we love the effortless power. We don't like the 100$ per tank every 250 miles though. Our RX400h was the most reliable and obviously most fuel efficient by a factor of 2 but wife didn't like it because it was too slow.
