rears to the front
would our stock ps2's from the rear fit on the front rim? Then go with a 295 to the rear?

I don't think they would fit on the wheel, but an instructor at a track day told me I could rotate front to back for awhile to even out the wear. Can anyone confirm that?

They will work fine for track days in the front. I run the rears on all four corner of my sedan. They do rub the inner front fenders near full lock, though. On the track this won't matter.

maybe a 5mm spacer that would cure the rub?

It's the outside of the tire rubbing on the front and rear of the inner fender. A spacer would make it worse. The correct solution is to put 255/40-18s on the front, but this defeats the purpose of putting the same size tires front and rear. I may eventually try to modify the inner fenders.
