Crazy how a beautiful exterior color and a beautiful interior color can look so together...

Oh well, there's always Jerez Black on Fox Red which I have seen in person and looks stunning
Soon we'll convert you fully to the dark side....

How's that dog (Shiba Inu) of yours?
Hehe... Yes it is a gateway and with 18 months to go on my lease, I am already thinking about color combos for the M3

Bico (my Shiba inu) is doing very well, he just turned a year old and is starting to calm down a bit... Have you met him?

Oh yeah, not sure if you knew this, but I work for Petco.. In a month or so, if you check one one of our stores, his picture will be on the Petco branded medium rectractable leach.

Good to hear from you man

Oh, 18 months of driving yourself insane then! (Well, let's hope not!)

I guess with 18 months you can figure out everything you want down on the options list, color, etc. etc. and also get a very good start on the mod list!

But.....I predict you'll be trying to get out of that lease if you can long before then if the M3 bug bit you!

No, haven't met you or Bico but we had an interesting discussion at one point over on e90 about pets and their health problems and how nuts modding can get--to the point of saying "____ (pet name), do you know that you cost me 900 dollars and I could have spent that on ____ (fill in the mod)?"

But I do love my dog more than my car/mods, so she always comes first.

What interior did you end up getting and why?
I think I want the fox red more than I want lemans.. so I would be more likely to switch exterior paint

If you're set on the Fox then the external color change is the way to go. Not a fan of the Lemans/Fox combo. I've got Fox Red with AW and the combo looks pretty good IMO.

I think there has been some suggestion that Fox Red wears more poorly than other colors, but I condition the leather regularly and haven't experienced that yet. Just FYI for consideration.

Negatory on Fox Red w/ the blue good buddy. If you've got your heart set on the blue I'd go with bamboo beige or silver novillo. On the other hand, if you have your heart set on the FR interior (which I agree is stunning) I'd go w/ Jerez or Jet Black, AW, or a silver exterior.

In fact, I wanted to order FR w/ graphite but they quit offering graphite for '09 in favor of the lighter shades of silver which didn't quite make it for me. Ended up going with Jerez Black w/ bamboo beige. No regrets!

honestly pictures don't do my combo any justice but when you see it in person its much more appealing...unique yes might not be your taste but I've gotten many many compliments & some were even surprised that IRL it looked so good, in the end its your car & your $$$ so spend it as you wish...my answer to you OP is YES go for it...

Blue & FR is hideous. Although I do like FR and all of the M3 shades of blue.

FR works on any color. It is an understated red, now if it was whatever the F80 red is or that coral red in the non-M E92, I don't think it would look good.

Fox Red interior looks good on almost any combo exterior. It looks plush and high-end/exotic imo. DO IT!

2013- When I ordered my M3, my preference was LMB with FR interior. The dealership was told that combo was not available, and the order was sent back for another color choice.
At that time, on the BMWNA website, you could build your own virtual BMW and the LMB/FR combination was not possible. BMW sales brochure confirms all of this in the combination chart.
Earlier years and foreign markets may be different.

Can’t believe they didn’t let you order LMB with FR. There are a few IB on FR out there.

Here are a few shots of my Jerez on FR
