Review of Yoko AD08's 285/30 and 265/35

Just got back from my track day at Hallet Motor speedway. I ended up going with yokohama AD08's in 18 inch size. 265/35 front and 285/30 rear, mounted on Apex wheels 9.5 front and 10 rear. No rubbing at any point. The 80 mile drive to the track was smooth and quite-really surprised about that. On the track that size combo gave nice neautral handling. I drove the car as hard as the brakes would let me and it was really hot, around 100 degrees. The tires held up great-no greasy feeling other drivers were complaining of including a friend in a GT3 RS with pilot sport cup tires. ran 36lb cold all around which ended up at 41 front 43 rear hot. Very happy with this set up. More to follow.

Thats good news. I recently installed a set that I am using on the track at the end of the month.

yep, love that set up. just got back from the track monday running 19's 265 fr., 295 rr. they held up great and yes civilized enough for daily duty, who woulda thunk...

I saw these on his car, am taking a look at these although I was at the same track event and didn't do any damage to my sidewalls until the instructor took my car out, lol...your's looked like you were trackin
