Factory Horn = Suck

Anyone hate how the factory horn in the ///M3 sounds so lame? I don't use mine much but when I do it's almost embarrassing. It sounds like it belongs on a smart car or something. I don't remember my horn being that bad in my 335i or old E46's. Maybe I'll do an aftermarket train horn mod or something.

Agree ..I thought there was something wrong too..compared to other BMWs I have had..the M3 sounds pretty anemic

Guess they figured with a honking V8 sound who needs a strong horn?

I agree the horn sucks. I bought one of these but haven't gotten around to putting it in yet. You have to take the whole front of the car apart to get to where the horn is.
