ZHP shifter came off?
has this ever happened to anyone? ive had my ZHP shifter over a year and as of last week when i was power shifting it came off. it was kinda scarey. now it happens every time shifting hard into 2nd or 4th.
i really do not wanna glue it down or buy a new knob, but whats the best way of making it not come off? |

Might just need a good whack to get it on properly.

I'm not sure how that could have happened? Was it seated properly to began with? I'd pony up for a new one rather than using glue.

I had the same issue when my friend drove my car lol. We just put it back and with the palm of my hand I just gave it a good couple whacks. Never came off after that. PS Dont hurt yourself. Lol

This happened to me with the Performance knob. I think it was just defective and stopped using it. I went back to my ZHP knob, which luckily has not come off yet. It sucks, but think you need a new one.

Before you complain about how easily your shift knob came off, read this...
