What transmission oil can I use?

I have a 02 m3 6 speed and need to change the oil in my transmission can I use something other that casterol mtf-lt-2??

I've used Redline MTL but switched back to the OEM MTF LT2, I run it in my street car E46 M3 and E36 track car. I'd stick with it as I don't think there is anything better.

I have used Redline for the last couple years. I have liked how it feels since it removed some notchiness I have had in the past.
