Poor handling loose steering

My 08 m3 recently has been handling poor the steering wheel is loose I haven't had an alignment in about 30000 miles and my back end seems to sway alittle I have about 1/3 tread left on the back tires and the more than 3/4 left on the front looking for advice on where to start guys thanks any advice would be great

Put the tyres up to 36 psi all round and see if that makes any difference.

Most definitely overdue for suspension and steering geometry check. Also, given the age of the car, it is likely some of the bushes will be worn, which will contribute to the "loose" feel.

Are you running spacers in front.? Or wheels that push out more than stock.?
If you do this , it will " toe " your front wheels out a bit , making the rear seem wobbly. Alignement should do it, or maybe steering rack bushing, if there is one one these models.
