Well I had the clicking on both sides so they replaced both front wheel bearings. If in fact it's true that some cars got a "bad batch" then the dealer ought to replace both even if only one side is clicking since at some point the other side will also have the same problem.

I had the clicking as well. They replaced the backing plate first, then they replaced bearings and the diff fluid, and on the third visit, because the noise still was present, they replaced the diff. That fixed the issue for me. I have a 2008.

I have a 2011 and I too had (?have) the same clicking on hard cornering. My issue is, why isn't it there with soft cornering. I heard mine the very first month of ownership and now after 20 months, I either got used to it or I don't drive with windows down anymore!!
I never had the courage to take it to the dealer and open a can of worms. I'm glad though that I'm not the only one. It seems too common to be the wheel bearings though!!
I better take it to the dealer before my warranty expires (I already have 35K miles)

I forgot to update you guys for the cause of my problem, they told me it was due to loose brake sensor, they fixed it for me. Now I don't have that problem anymore.

I have got the reverse bycicle chain sound also, under high speed cornering...I can hear it with the window open, while hard cornering left or right.
I thought initially that is from differential, but reading this topic I understand it could be wheel bearings?

Update: Front wheel bearings the culprit in my case.

Of course they don't have it on stock so needed to order them, I'll keep you posted once they replace them.

They replaced the front wheel bearings, and the noise was gone for a month or so, but now it's back again

Now they say it's the front wishbone

If I know that no further damage from the noise, I am ready to live with it.

I had the same clicking described here, both left and right no-so-hard cornering. Turned out to be the both front upper strut mounts. $500 for pair, all quiet now for 1,000 km.

The dealer replaced my spindle to cure my cornering click on the '08. Wheel bearings would really fit the problem.

Bumping this up because it’s as good as any thread on this topic.

About a month ago I began noticing this fast, even spaced ticking sound when turning hard (like the pilot of a gas stove, or a dry leaf in bicycle spokes). It’s audible on both sides but turning right more so. Only clicks if there’s some load on the suspension (silent in a slow parking garage, but it’s consistent if I am pushing it at all on, say, freeway ramps). Everything feels fine. I have Brembo GTs, 2011 dust shields, new strut guides, new tension arms and monoballs, fresh diff fluid, etc. Those are the other common culprits for this sound when searching. I am guessing it’s a wheel bearing, but those are supposedly stout (57K on my car) and it does sound like it can come from both sides (would be surprising if they started making noise at the same time). Just wondering if anybody has a clue before I roll up my sleeves.

I used to have this noise as well, for me it went away once my KWs were installed. When I had the noise the car felt fine but it clicked turning right under load in the manner you describe.

Repetitive clicking sound that increases with speed may be caused by something stuck to your tire. Like a nail. I had that once.

I'm facing the same issue - although mine isn't exclusive to cornering. The ticking noise is present at low speeds going in a straight line and it gets louder during hard cornering.
