No Reminder for 1200 Mile Maintenance
I don't get it! I see all of these posts about the reminder for the 1200 mile maintenance coming up at 500, 600 or so miles, and mine hasn't! From day one with 9 miles on the odometer, mine says first oil change at 15000 miles. I now have 993 miles on the clock and it says in 14000 miles. I called my dealer to schedule and was asked if the reminder was on and I told them no, and they reluctantly scheduled me for the maintenance next Friday anyway. I'm wondering if someone at either the prep center or the dealer inadvertantly or intentionally reset all reminders? Has anyone else not been reminded of this maintenance?

My '08 didn't remind me either. Maybe because I reached that mileage in one day (driving car back home), but it's in the manual, so dealer didn't say anything. I actually had 1,400 miles at the time of my appointment, and never a service reminder.
You shouldn't have a problem either. Just make an appointment near the 1,200-mile mark . |

Thanks for the reply. I don't anticipate any problem really, since they know it's required and scheduled it. I'm just concerned why it didn't show up!

I could be wrong but I thought the dealer would program in the next service interval. Maybe they didn't do this and you therefore didn't get a notice.
