What I heard from my SA is its going to set sail today no ship name or anything yet but I am just doing my own reasearch trying to find out all ships leaving Bremerhaven.

Ingolsstadt is a K Lines ship. Looks like they concentrate on Asia and don't have any Europe to West Coast routes.

honestly... I was initially thinking what is wrong with these ppl mapping out nautical voyage routes and quoting ship names like pirates.

"Your car left Germany on the 15th. It now has an estimated port date of 03/10/08. It is sailing on a vessel called the "Falstaff" voyage number ED807, bill of lading number DE724765. Please note the the port date is an estimation only."

Ah, but they go to the east coast and mine is on the Ingolstadt, call 3EMR5, voyage 139. She's heading out of the Portsmouth UK area with arrival on 2/28. Looks like I will take delivery very close to the official launch date

GregW and Jinxter, is the OC still showing that your car is awaiting transport?

The hotline instead of being able to automatically give me an update forwards me to a phone operator who tells me that I have to check with my dealer now. It used to just tell me it was awaiting transport.

Thanks, no luck. According the ultimate tracking guide, that is the shipper used for east coast deliveries. I live in SoCal but my car is going to NYC first and I will transport it here.

The Ultimate tracking guide needs updating, since my West Caost delivery in on Wllenius.

My car finished production on 2/5.

Here is additional information I gleaned from the shipping record.

2/4/08, 10:00 - Booked for shipping to Port Hueneme
2/11/08, 9:00 - Received at terminal
2/15/08, 10:00 - Loaded on vessel
2/15/08 - Departed Bremerhaven
2/16/08 - Arrived Zeebrugge, Belgium
2/17/08 - Departed Zeebrugge, Belgium

Scheduled:
2/18/08 - Arrive Southampton, UK
2/19/08 - Depart Southampton, UK
3/1/08 - Arrive/Depart Manzanillo, Panama (Pacific side)
3/10/08 - Arrive Port Hueneme, CA, USA

So, 34 days from completion of production to arrival on West Coast. The time from completion to departure is exactly the same as was my '01, 10 days. I'll be watching the Canal Cam on 2/29! Sick!

I've been having my CA check every couple days on the DCS. It didn't show anything Friday, then showed shipped today. He was able to provide me with the ship name and all relevant numbers. Owner's Circle order tracking is still showing "awaiting transport" 3 1/2 days later!

Once it's in the shipping company's records you can track it to port from their website.

Definitely! As you can see by my timeline above, it took 6 days for my car to get to the port, but was only there 4 before leaving. A lot has to do with specific timing relative to sailings, of course.

I experienced a long delay...my M3 finished production on 2/1 and sat at the port from 2/1 until 2/15 when it was loaded on the ship. The ship is due to arrive at the NY/NJ port on 2/25.
