OMG! Spy pics of next 911!

And it looks just like the last 5 generations
Yawn
Do you guys think the designers of the 911 are getting bonuses for these designs?
Or did they just get one many years ago, and have been content since?

I hate the led strips in the fog light area. They look like an afterthought just like Mercs and everyone else who slapped on a led strip after Audi seemed to make them popular.

I don't do P-cars but I would say this: why mess with success? You just need to update it enough to keep the fans trading in their old ones.

There must be something going on with P-cars, because it seems to be the only brand that lures away BMW CCA driving instructors. And the guys running the P-car club seem pretty nice.

Doesn't tempt me. I'm too busy trying to make over 25+year-old BMW chassis into P-car thumping beasts. And failing. But still trying, and the mistakes are cheap investments.

Its a facelift refresh of a current model. What did you expect? Revolution?

The Porsche 911 is arguably the most visually recognized brand in the market. That took an astonishing amount of money and half a century to establish. I haven't noticed Porsche struggling financially or competitively. Its not like Porsche leadership sit in meetings and say "Why don't we just chuck the 911's brand following and value and replace it with something radically different...just for the heck of it?!"

This is the model refresh as 991 coming up on 4th year. Porsche did this with 997.1 from 2005 - 2008 and then refreshed 997.2 2009 to 2011. Updates look good to me

i am excited to see the final product. It's gonna looks good just like it did when it went from 997.1 to 997.2

Porsche is the most profitable auto brand in the world. Why? Because they can be. As correctly pointed out here, they are not going to mess with their icon too often. But over the years the changes have been remarkable. Drive a 996 then a 997 then a 991, you will notice. Most interesting note in this link- Cayman GT4???? With a 3.8 L. whoa. Now THAT is messing with the 911! Something Porsche has been avoiding like plague ever since Cayman hit the street. But ultimately they are car engineers, race engineers really, and the mid-engine platform cannot be denied.
