I don't think the 1st one will do well. I like them on the Porsche though.
The ones on the Audi might...the design seems a little big though

absolutely not on the first one - looks fine on the porsche but no love for m3

I don't see how the second one could look any better than RGR's or RS-GT's....would be different tho.

Not sure about either one OC. The E92 M3 will be a tricky car to find good wheels for I think...

RAC is going to do some high pressure forged wheels (forging done by Champion in Japan) for the car. Their E46 wheels have the best fit and quality you can find. They design the wheels as one-piece forged with the right width and offset for the particular model. I corresponded with Ralph last week.

These wheels are some of the few that are absolutely positively known to be 8,000 ton forged. At this stage I plan to hold out for the RACs. Three piece wheels have the advantage of (possibly) being repaired while a bent monoblock is guarenteed to be scrap metal. I just can't justify spending money on a monoblock that isn't bulletproof

Soon BBS will have a new wheel w the proper spec out for the e92 M3. It may even push the boundary of the width of the stock 23 rear, 29 front.

The closest offset avail right now on the RS-GT is a 25 rear, 35 front. (I was told when I purchased these that they were "....the BBS spec for the e46 M3..." I milled the rear hub by 5mm to fit the 335 properly.)
Ah shit! As soon as I pushed the confirm order button I started to vaguely recall somebody saying something like this and it was you! I just ordered the RS-GTs in black diamond, ET35 front, ET25 rear. Rears are fine as-is, the fronts need spacers. They are backordered at Tire Rack so I have time to change my order if a more specific fitment is in the pipeline. Has anybody heard any new news here?

Are you kidding me? You bought them! Nice!

rvacha, your car is gonna look hot!

That was the exact wheel and offset I had purchased (and milled for my reg. e92.) I wish I had known they were going to be adaptable...although I still would have to think that a new spec w/ proper offset may be released...I just don't like the idea of spacers...

I would be very interested as well...perhaps a call is in order directly to BBS:

I got the 18" wheels with the intention of going aftermarket sooner or later, but I keep starring in my garage and they really, really suck on JzB! So sooner than later! Don't hold your breath since they are backordered - I wouldn't want you to turn into a Smurf

Thanks for the contact info - I'll call Monday and post whatever I learn

Called BBS USA and the gent didn't seem to knowledgeable. He claimed there was no M3 specific fitment in the pipeline - but he also claimed that the RS-GT front with 35mm offset didn't need a spacer! I guess I'll let the order roll and try them out with spacers

Just got a call from Tire Rack - they say BBS is giving them a 90 day minimum leadtime on the RS-GTs. They throw in 10mm spacers for free but I'm thinking I'd like to have 5mm spacers on hand to try. I know there are some technical reasons why 5mm aren't a fabulous solution, but I still think I want to give it a go. Tire Rack doesn't sell them - does anyone know who does?

M3 Vert is now an available option on Tire Rack and still no damn picture for any M3 model, the sedan pic is of a regular 3-series. What the hell is the hold-up?
