It's a prewash rinse so it's meant to loosen all the dirt before you do the wash with a mitt. However based on some reviews I've seen and depending on the level of how dirty your car is and how clean you want it to be, you could technically just foam it with avalanche, rinse and walk away

Thanks for the info Phil! So far I've been using CG's Honey Dew, and prior to that I used Insta Finish's product. Both worked good but I might give this a try next time. Would you recommend this over any of the other "foamy" products for your lance?

I don't see a problem using avalanche on that type of finish

looking for a good foam to use with my uber foam canon, is this stuff okay to use year round? I live in texas so road salt isnt an issue, but my car is always covered in dust and dirt from the living in the desert. I can't decided between this and adams.

you shouldn't have any problem using this year round. i really wanted to test this out as i love auto finesse and the few products i've tried from them. i really like citrus power and having a dedicated snow foam that has the power of citrus power was exactly what I dreamed for. However, I came to my own conclusion that I didn't want to spend alot of money on a soap/snow foam when I'd be using 2-4oz a wash. Adam's is a great soap and it seems to do really well in the foam cannon and its price point compared to avalanche is alot better. I've seen a thread where avalanche was tested on two very dirty cars and the cleaning power was ridiculous. I'll eventually buy avalanche but for the time being I'm sticking to a cheap soap that will foam up well

thanks for the help man, I was actually going to order it a long with a few other things and noticed 3 of the 4 items I was going to get are out of stock
I've been using AMMO and while it works really well in the bucket it doesnt foam near as much as these shoe to in the video, so I thought I would try something specifically made for a foam gun

The uk actually gets great snow foam products which makes sense why af created a dedicated snow foam. I'm going for honeydew snow foam on my next order as many love the foam it creates

I have been using the Honey Dew for a while now and it works pretty well but not my favorite so far. It does create pretty good thick foam, however I feel like you have to use ALOT in order to get the desired thickness... Prior to the Honey Dew I used Insta Finish's product (cannot remember the exact name) and that was awesome, didnt take a whole lot to create LOTS of foam. Just my two cents

pick up the Adam's if you don't have to worry about the salt.

Thanks for the feedback. Honestly I've been contemplating just picking up OTC soaps and using that. Specifically Meg's gold class. It's cheap and is actually a good soap so worst case it doesn't foam well and I use it as my car wash soap

If "Turtle's wax's" soap can do a good foam, I'm sure Meguiare's Gold classic has some good foaming aspect.

It will foam well. There's a video on YouTube and it foams really good. It's just not a common soap to be used in the foam cannon and my pressure washer isn't that strong

I see no reason why it wouldnt work quite well, I guess it just depends on how thick foam you desire. Personally I enjoy the really thick stuff that almost looks like shaving foam, haha

As long as it covers the entire surface and has some cleaning power I'm good. I would love thick Foam but not a big deal

I originally wanted hyper wash but got turned away after I read somewhere that it was affecting someone's lsp. One ounce in the foam cannon?!? That's crazy I think I'll pick up a gallon after I'm done with my honeydew and avalanche bottles
