My First BMW, and It's an M#
First ever BMW (I'm 55) bought mine in October 2015, 6sp, no Idrive, time of sale 28,543 miles, now has 29,567, hoping to get like 100,000 miles on it at least. Silverstone Metallic II
miles: 6/23/08 1,203 2/3/12 5,122 8/27/15 28,023 Extended leather Cold weather package 19in competition wheels Sunroof Complete invisible bra(even on door handles, back fenders, full front) Brakes 11mm front/12mm rear next scheduled maintenance-spark plugs at 37,000 miles. When I got it from a local Ford Dealership it had to have 2 O2 sensors replaced, done at the BMW dealer across the street. Luckily they were under Ford dealer 90 day warranty to the tune of $3,000 worth of work (think they wanted to soak Ford, I didn't pay, didn't care). I had it in the BMW dealership, they gave it the ol' one two, nothing else wrong. Ford dealership where I bought it had put in an after market oil filter, had that replaced at BMW. I changed a brake light bulb this past weekend. No problems since, I love this car. |

Since when have we let 55 year olds buy their first BMW as a M3? Back in the day I was told I had to start with the tii and earn the right to move up. Flying Ace finally gave me my Ultimate Driving Machine certification which then allowed me entry into the M3 world and the rest is history
OP, great looking ride made even better by Silverstone! Enjoy it for many years to come! |

Those 70,000 miles will fly by. The car will beg to be driven. Congrats and welcome.

It sure feels rewarding after all those years of hard work to finally own a masterpiece M3! I was not in my 20s when I first bought my very first BMW, the M3.
Be sure you have two qts of tws Castrol 10-w60 in the trunk. Last edited by Agent-GHQ; 03-12-2016 at 04:14 PM.. |
