Hey guys,

Winter is looming upon us, for those of you that plan to drive you M in the winter, I have a set of BS 265/35/18 for sale.

I've used them for 2 months last year, so they are pretty much brand new. I've put less than 500km on them, literally. I don't need them anymore since I've moved to Boston for school.

How's the 265/35/18 set up compared to the OEM 235/40/18 for winter? Would this tire size fit an e92 with OEM 18" wheels?

Hi there. The Bridgestone 265/35/18 setup is both lighter and wider than the OEM size, which translates to significantly better stopping power in the winter both in the dry and in snow.

But I don't think the OEM 18 will fit the 265/35/18 in the front; the rears are okay I believe. The front OEM wheel size is 18x8.5 if my memory serves me right, so that won't fit. The range of wheels that will fit will fall between 18 x 9 to 18 x 10.5.

Contrary to belief, the thinner and more sidewall a tire has, the better it will perform in actual snow/ice situations.
