I finally bought one two days ago from Calgary and drove back to Grande Prairie yesterday. I have to say that it was a very fun drive. I ended up buying a 2009 coupe with comp package which only had 25,000kms. It's in pristine condition I must say. I love downshifting because of the sound it makes. Just like other hundreds of M3 drivers out there, it does put a huge grin on my face every time!!!!

I would steer clear from ECU Program, surplus amount of members posting bad things in private groups. Also, I've been screwed by them with 'fake' coding to say the least.
Would only go to Alex@Alpine who is a vendor on here, he ships everything to you and it's cheaper than anyone else. Only time I would go to a shop for coding is if I drove to the states and visited EAS or iND etc... If you want a shop that does actual car work in Calgary then I would recommend Viteks. Never heard one bad review about that them, not even a snip. Never been there myself. However, I will over winter when I get my mods. Lastly, NELSON.MLGB, or whatever his forum name is...has worked at ECU Program in the past and I'm sure he still does. No point in not answering the questions when asked. |

Secondly, do not try to make yourself feel good, I made this account a while back...you would not be worth my time. Except for now, getting a good kick out of this, justifying myself to you. Ha! Lastly, you still never mentioned any form of answer to previously asked questions or the statement made in my first post actually...as far as talking 'shit' goes, I do not believe I said anything untrue about you? LMAO You have yourself a great evening my friend! Be rest assured also that I would never bring my '13 M3 to you guys. Will not be responding to you again on here...on a side note, when is the next meet?! |

Anyone know where to get their speaker/amp replace?
Currently one of my speakers are blown and I assume my amp isn't working since there is very little bass. Anyone recommend a shop? Don't really want to go back to the dealer and spend 1500 on the amplifier alone. Rather get aftermarket |

Hope everyone is enjoying their M's as much before the real winter starts!
If anyone wants to purchase a set of 220M OEM rims, make me an offer and PM me. I'm just trying to get the word out their as quickly as possible, I will make an independent thread in the next coming days. Would love to get rid of these in the next week or so. Cheers

It is for sale because I have a baby on the way. Would be nice to have a fun car that I can carry the whole family in. But whatever it is likely won't live up to the fun of the GT3. If the GT3 doesn't sell I won't be sad just will likely sit in the garage more...

That is ridiculous. Oil service kit (Filter+Oil) is $130, Cabin air filters are $110, and OEM air filter is $70, total is $310 without labour. Oil service takes a maximum of 1hour (that's doing it very slow), and air filter is about a 15min job, and air filter is 15 min job. Average shop hour is $110, so your looking at $310 parts and $180 labour = $500 anything more than that is crazy... Just for you information, this is how easy the cabin air filter replacement is,

Anyone still driving their M3s in this weather?
I do and I'm noticing some odd behavior. When trying to accelerate agressively from a stand still in the snow, the entire car begins to shake fairly noticeably when it loses traction. It goes away if I keep on the throttle and DSC kicks in or if I let off the throttle. I tried turning off DSC and it shakes as well. It does not do this if I try to accelerate slowly minimizing wheel spin. Anyone notice this with their Ms?
