Question What diffuser is this?

Trying to help my cousin out with rear diffuser shopping. He wants the challenge but that seems next to impossible to get these days. Came across this in the Modified Coupe Sticky thread and I think it looks awesome, but no idea who made it??? It's kinda a cross between a Challenge with an extra fin in the middle and Hamman with the flat sides. Feel free to post pics or possible alternatives. TIA

Looks like 3F. Not sure if these were ever released in the wild.

That indeed is a 3F. Good luck finding one, I've been barking up that tree for years now

Thanks guys. I don't understand why some of these parts are so difficult to get? There is definitely a market for them. Seems like Challenge alone could sell dozens of their diffuser.

I know 3F had issues with molds and getting the weave to match up so they decided to stop production until they find a reliable manufacturer.

These parts are difficult to get because the manufacturers want to ship out a perfect product for their customers. If the product isn't perfect then there is no product, and I can understand that.

Also, I should mention that another company made an unauthorized "replica" of this diffuser but do not any more due to a cease and desist from 3F.

I get it, I know how hard it is to get a consistent reliable product like this, especially CF. Fact is, I would be happy with a textured or smooth black plastic version. The fit would be more snug because of the flex in the material and it might even have a more OEM appearance without the CF.

Cease and desist, lol. Seems silly to me since they are not doing anything with the design themselves.

METAKdiffuser: Is this different enough to avoid any lawsuits with any existing manufacturer?
