Nice. I see you got the shades. They don't look like they are very "dark". That is, the mesh looks loose, not tight, and lets a lot of sun in. Is it just the pictures? Or are they really that light?

that looks awesome, my ssii e90 will be here shortly, i was torn between sg and ssii but went with the silver. i also have two little ones and the sedan is just too practical. I hate putting kids in carseats in a coupe. i will miss the carbon fiber roof

Sweet!!! My car is identical and arrives at port on the 22nd. I do have both 18's and 19's to see which looks better. Prolly stick with the 19's after seeing your car.

You're right. The shades by no means form a tight seal around the windows. There is a substantial gap at some places between the shade and the window/door frame. Also, they are fairly transparent... enough to have up (deployed?) while driving if you want. I haven't parked the car in the sun for any amount of time yet so don't know how much difference they really make in keeping the car cooler. I actually got them as much for privacy as sun protection as they make it a bit tougher to look into the car. |

Hey cool! You ordered both sets of wheels? Didn't think of that as I was agonizing over my decision to go with the 19s...

Very nice color on the sedan. I agree with many of your observations. I, too, am loving comfort access. When I get into our Mercedes and have to take the key out it's a big pain (going soft, i know!).
The coupe is a very all-around car. The sedan is perfect for those with families. I'm glad BMW saw fit to make it this time around for those who need it.
