Vinyl decision... Matte white or gloss orange Poll.

I'm having my car wrapped next week mainly because every car I owned was black and I want to try something different. I was going for the whole GTS look as I already purchased the GTS rear wing and front lip as well as black GTS style wheels. I saw an orange one for sale here not too while ago and liked the way it looked.

That being said, I'm having second thoughts as I also like Matte white... However there are white m3s all over the place, plus alpine white is the most common color and having it matte white may not be that different.

I'm not interested in any other color so don't need suggestions on that... Mainly on these two. What are your opinions?

Orange would be sweet IMO. wouldn't Matte orange be cooler then gloss?

It would, however, 3m 1080p vinyl's matte orange is a lot lighter... Almost yellow than gloss orange. It's actually called gloss burnt orange.

I have a very similar poll in the cosmetic section. I was going for either satin black or orange and I chose orange. And a few others also said orange.

Post some pics when done... I'm interested to see how it looks. How many gallons are you gonna use and which spray gun?

Are you choosing plasti dip because it's cheaper?

Im having a shop do it for me. They put in the order today for the dip so sometime next week the car will be painted and Ill put up pics. The shop said they will use 4-5 gallons because orange plastidip is thinner then other colors.

Sort of yeah. My car is leased so I needed something I could easily remove when I wanted and I could not justify paying over 3 grand for 1 mod on a leased car I know I won't be keeping.

You want to do a wrap, plasti dip doesnt hold up very well, gas will eat it up.

I have an Alpine White M3 that I got wrapped Satin Pearl White. As you said, its still white, but its definitely a head turner. Plenty of people (guys and girls) notice and compliment it all the time.

Gloss Orange. Just look at a GTS everytime you are in doubt. Especially since you already have all the other GTS goodies.
