BMW Navigation Update Question

Hi All,

I just purchased a 2008 e92 M3 and it came with the 2009 BMW Navigation DVD. I see on eBay that there are people selling (for ~$14) a 2014 Navigation DVD, but it says that it upgrades 2013 Navigation DVDs. Will this work for upgrading the 2009 DVD?

Are there other options other than using a DVD? This is my first experience with a DVD-based navigation system. Are there software updates for the navigation unit itself?

Any help would be much appreciated!

You should contact one of the vendors ( i.e. Dracon)

Okay, thank you. Also, anyone have experience with the best settings for the BMW Navigation? I have it set to "Fastest Route" and it takes me down really strange routes.

I bought the car and it was set to "Use Highways". Is this the best setting?
