2010 M3: Ordered!

Just found this site while bored at work, I ordered my car 2 weeks ago and just cannot wait to get it, these have been the longest 2 weeks of my life and I have 4-6 more to wait!

anyways here are the specs
M3 Coupe
Alpine White
Fox Red Novillo leather interior
Carbon Fiber Roof
Tech Package
Premium Package
19" premium wheels
Premium sound
Heated seats

One more thing, I was reading up on how to track your car through the production number, I have not received one yet and its 2 weeks into the process, is this common? When did you guys receive your production numbers to track the cars progress?

Welcome and congrats! More local M3s are always fun.

Your Sales adviser should give you the production number once they have it. Just let them know you want to track the progress online.

hey, let me know how long it takes for you to get it after it reaches to port in NY. mine is expected to get to NY on 31st

for me the boat left germany on 22nd midnight and expected to arrive ny on 31st afternoon.

Congrats mate... 2 months isn't too bad of a wait.. I know some guys that waited over a year... personal wait will be a total of 6 months for me...

Time will slow down for a while... but your baby will soon be here... Enjoy

I guess you're wait is longer than us West Coasters, but here in L.A. it's exactly a month. My car left Bremerhaven 10/1 arrives in port Huneme 10/30.

Its at Perillo, Im going to come out to the chitownm meet this week, I believe thats the weekly meet you're referring to

Yeah, that's the meet I was referring to. I am going to swing by Perillo today anyway (I live in the area)
I have to pick up a few quarts of oil I always keep stock and do a change during the winter
Especially with the SC going on, I want her to have new oil before she goes into a deep sleep

I want my car, i cant wait any longer. going nuts in here. it arrived to port on 31st. dealer says it will be ready next week. why does it take so long?

After 7 weeks of waiting she finally came in, only pic I have at the moment is in garage at night (yes I know my garage is dirty)
