Because twinturbo335 is arguing that cars aren't allowed there, but one clearly was. This goes back to my earlier point that there wasn't enough room to DRIVE around the protesters, or even walk around, as claimed near the beginning of the thread. Thus the need for the police to clear a path.....

We are facing some similar issues in WA. The legislature HAS to cut spending, but when they do, they get sued because everyone has come to think they are entitled to these new "rights", when really they were over-subsidized benefits. The police cruiser isn't even trying to get past to the other side. The police just decided to park their cruiser there so that their lazy ass don't have to walk a extra 20 feet..

Nope, it was a third year mathematics class (vector calculus I think), but I can't recall the specific course number or name, since it was over 19 years ago.

a lot of the negative comments come from people out of state who don't understand how much California prides itself on its public education system and the prestige these universities carry not only in the states but around the world. they see this as another Occupy Wall Street protest, but it's not really. this is pretty much a continuation of protests from the years before as tuition costs increased with decreased services.
