You Know You're Obsessed When...
You go on vacation with your family without your car and you're pissy.
I'm with my parents, grandfather, aunt, uncle, sister, her husband and kids, and I'm irritated. I just wanna drive my damn car!!! Haha. We took my parents' Escalade and my father's CTS-V down to a beach town and rented a couple of condos. I'm so annoyed, because my father's V is automatic, so it's no fun to drive. I just want to cruise down the streets with my M3 enjoying the weather, since I hate the beach.

... when you pick up your girl for a date and you have to lie about whats taking up all the room in the backseat and trunk thats covered up with towels because you just bought a set of fresh NT-05's and she said she'd dump you if you spent any more money on your car.
... and when you tell your girlfriend your grandparents came into town for the weekend when in reality Buttonwillow is has an open track day. |

If after a couple years of driving your M3 you start to get bored or indifferent, just go on vacation and drive a Toyota/Honda/Hyundai/Ford rental car for a week. When you get back you'll be pleasantly reminded of what a well-handling, fun car BMW makes!

Driving my car from Calgary to Vancouver. It is her first long trip (10-12 hours) and it is a beautiful road so it should be so fun

When you are going out and you Google the location and get a satellite view of the parking lot to make sure there's a spot to park that is 99% safe from door dings...

I travel a lot and it is awesome to come home and start that awesome V8. Since I don't drive my car everyday, everytime I get in it is like brand new to me. So I do know the feeling

Lol. I drove to Chicago on Friday with my CTS and was really wishing I had gone with my X5M. I'm actually on my way back to St. Louis and am sitting at a rest area to type this. The Cadillac is fine however the driving feel is numb and boring. It has 305 hp but is a very heavy sedan. Its MPG's have gone from 16.9 to 19.9 though! Haha. Can't wait till I'm reunited with my M though... I probably won't drive my Caddy for at least another month.

You Know You're Obsessed When...
You rather spend time driving it around by yourself than go to some house party or to a club with friends on a Friday or Saturday night, where they want you to be the designated driver because you have the coolest car and they think it will help their game, stepping out of your car or help get parking in front the club to attract chicks that none of them will get anyway and worrying about the "one" who gets belligerent at the end of the night and might throw up in your car.

-Demonstrate proper entry/exit procedures to avoid seat wrinkles
-Ask you date to take off her heels to avoid marking the door sills -When you get home after a few days and just open the door to smell the aroma of the leather -You wipe down the wheels, engine and exhaust after each drive -Will go over a mile out of the way to avoid bad roads/construction
