As of now, late October. I'm working with a supplier to try and get an accurate date. Quote:
Maybe, Ian. But it's not made by Eisenmann, as others have suggested. Yeah, same basic stuff. Though the metal alloy ratio and composition is probably a bit different.

A-Man, you drive an E92 in Cape Town? You, my friend, live dangerously!
Sounds good, but not for $4K+ (if that ends up being the price). Also, any idea what the install will be like? Depending on the need for cutting, I can easily see BMW charging 4+ hours for the standard install, regardless of how long it actually takes them a la Lexus F-Sport install prices.

according to that price since we don't pay German VAT, the base cost is 2858 Euros = $3,972 @ 1.39 EUR/USD
I don't see why BMW will sell it at a price any less than this here in US. Based on this price, I doubt they'll release this in US. There's probably not enough sales to justify bringing this over for retail, I'm sure you can special order this from Europe though. I can't spend $3972 on an exhaust! If it's like $2000 I'll think about it. |

I like the sound, although I'm still leaning toward the modified stock exhaust as having the perfect balance of sound above 4K, no drone and being almost imperceptible below 4K RPM's compared to stock (for my neighbors).

EDIT: Im guessing that this exhaust would be TUV approved, therefore loudness would be relative to a 'sport' exhaust?

Would be interesting to see if it's made by either Remus or Eisenmann. Both of their aftermarket muff's are less $$ by far than these. The Remus set ups - both the race and the sport - are still around $1.4K, and the Eisenmann set up is around $2.8K I'm pretty sure.
