Cool More pics pg.3

Paint correction and some botox.

What up guys. Got some botox for my lip lol and decided to do a paint correction while I was at it.

First of all I would like to thank Jimmy Lucci for the paint correction. He did a fantastic job on my car. The wax that he put on (Swissvax Crystal Rock) is unbelievable. Nothing sticks to the paint If you're in So Cal, call this guy. Sometimes I stop to check myself out in the door. Damn thing is like a mirror.

Next up is the lip. Seems like there is a slew of broken lips on the forum. I feel bad for you guys. Just think of it as a disposable item lol. Beauty is painful, just ask any girl that wears Louboutins So after the paint correction was done I installed the lip and now its back to looking the way it should. Bit thumbs up to Revinora for the fast turnaround.

Anyway enough of the blabber. Lets get to the photos. These were taken with an iPhone so excuse the quality.

Here is the new lip

Starting with a bath and a claying. Jimmy used this towel with clay on it. Pretty interesting.

Dedication...

Shot of the reflection on the hood. NO MORE SWIRLS...

And some final shots outside. The sun kept getting covered with clouds so it was difficult to get pics.

Well the process can be better explained to you technically by Jimmy Lucci himself. Don't really know the details of it. Pricing wise he charges by the hour and depending how much work your car needs it can get expensive. He's a supporting vendor just shoot him a PM. All I can say is that its not your average detail. Its much more than that.

in this case paint correction is essentially buffing out swirl marks with a polishing compound and a random orbital buffer. it's a lot of work but not so difficult that you can't do it yourself, you just have to find the right combination of pad and compound.

if my washing practices led to swirl marks on my 2012 already, i would definitely start learning how to do this. actually, first stop would be learning how to wash the car without causing swirl marks... that's a lot easier.
