Found an awesome track tool box!
Since my 330 is always breaking and I'm helping my buddies, I bring a lot of tools. The problem is I need to rummage around to find a socket, wrench, or anything in a regular plastic tool box.
This Track Tool Box is brilliant. Just big enough to fit a torque wrench and breaker bar. It has a compartment for hardware and stuff in the top. It is not too heavy but seems sturdy. Then the most important thing, the drawers are sturdy and slide nice and smoothly. The drawers lock when you close the lid. Price? $40 from Home Depot. So I need to change brake pads? I go to my toolbox, I quickly grab a 5mm socket, extension, and ratchet. Instead of getting stabbed with my utility knife and emptying out half of the box to find the right socket. Just thought I'd share.

yeah looks like a good idea. i usually go to the track with a minimum of tools but that time has ended. pad changes and tire changes at least are gonna be necesary.

The biggest difference was that the drawers seemed like they would last. The craftsman and other versions seemed terrible.

starting to think my cheap plastic slide micrometer was junk. i may not be below minimum thickness up front after all.

Jae,
I decided to check out the Husky box at the 'Depot tonight and I must admit that it does not suit my personal needs as I found it too heavy off the bat. Sure it looks sturdy but I will probably go for one of the DeWalt options (see below) which will also allow me to organize my bottles of fluid (oil, break, etc) as well as a few spare parts. Thanks for the advice though. http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/2027105...3#.UTflhBG9KSN Or even... http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/2033671...3#.UTfnBBG9KSM

I looked at those. I wanted the drawers so my tools stays organized. This was the best option IMO for something with drawers. The problem I had with a similar Dewalt box is trying to find stuff.
With the Husky box, I just put it on top of my box, grab it and go to the track. Yeah it's heavier but it's not like I have to carry it everywhere. One time to load, unload, load then unload. Not bad unless you have an injury that precludes lifting 40-50 lbs. I don't put anything in the box Crazy like my sledge hammer. The only downer is I can't fit the impact...not a big deal. I do carry just about any tool needed for a trackside fix...and for other people's trackside fix.
