My 2011 is loaded with all options other than cold weather package. I like to have all options I did not order I picked it up from the show room.

Power seats would've been nice. It blows my mind that you now have to pay extra for power seats in a $65k car. The car that is supposed to be the top of the line 3 series. What's even worse is they were standard in my 08

Seriously!! The US market is very different from the Canadian market. I don't think you can get an M3 without power seats in Canada (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

For me, I regret not getting the Performance Exhaust as part of the ordering process. Otherwise, I got the car fully loaded as anytime I haven't in the past I regretted something missing.

Wait... Power Seats are not standard equipment on a $65k car or alarm? Most $30k cars come with all that basic stuff.

Im surprised the floor mats arent a $900 option.....

Floor mats are a $150 or so option

Alarm doesn't come standard on ANY BMW.

I could live without the sunroof on my sedan. Doesn't get a lot of use and it's heavy.

The only options I did not get was the Competition Package (ZCP) and the Cold Weather Package. But I wish I did get the competition package.

I did not get the cold weather because I figured I do not take my garage queen out in bad weather and by the off chance I do, it won't be long enough to get dirty headlamps. Plus, the washer covers are just one more spot to detail around...removing carnuba wax around those things does not seem appealing!

I did not order the competition because I did not do enough research and was under the impression the wheels were 18s instead of 19s. I was unable to see and drive a zcp package and I wondered if the springs would be too firm. Plus I really like the 19" wheel option. Now if they had the black GTS wheels on the zcp, then I would not pass that up!

I asked the salesman what kind of good deal could I get on the performance exhaust since I was delayed getting my car (the first order was incorrect). He said $4700 plus installation! The full price of the exhaust is $4374.42 plus install...some deal! Then I went online to BMW USA and saw I could order it for $3581.96 installed through BMW USA's site but using the same dealership. I don't get it!!!

Little things like bluetooth I would like to have, but no regrets over those type of things.

Now I love DCT, but at times wouldn't mind a 6mt. Oh and MR....

I got mine installed at the port for cost. dealer just threw it in to be nice and since it never went through the dealerships hands they didn't care about giving it to me at cost with no markup. Port install was about $68 and it you get the full warranty.

Insane isn't it????

What's worse is that it used to be standard, then BMW cheapened out. Even the visors are cheap plastic now, which they weren't, and the windshield wipers seem to be of a much cheaper design although that doesn't bother me as long as they work.

Re Power Seats: When they introduced MDrive in the US as standard in the second half of the 2011 Model Year, they took away power seats. This suits people who don't want iDrive or the double hump dash, but want the M button, servotronic sport steering, etc., and manual seats to reduce weight.

However, BMW Canada decided to not offer MDrive standard and keep the power seats. Thought their Canadian clients would not want an M3 without power seats... (So to get MDrive in Canada, you need to buy iDrive.)
