Removing Air Bags

I have an E46 M3 pretty much dedicated for track use.

Here's my question: What safety equipment would you have in place before you'd consider removing the air bags? What are pros and cons of leaving air bags in a track car?

Minium cage, seats and proper restrain harness - 5 point. Leaving the bags - Pros - only your life.

You must not rely on the OEM belt tensioner on the side if taking out the airbag(in case someone with quick fits looks at this). Otherwise, don't see the point of an airbag if you're in a harness and fixed seat. More so if you have a HANS.

If you don't want to look at the light, just put some electrical tape on the back of the overlay (SRS light only).

Also, might want to put in a battery cutoff since the auto cutoff is part of the SRS. You will need to cut off the end and put a crimp ring on.
