Hardwire V1 usable for Passport 9500xi?

Hardwire V1 usable for Passport 9500xi?

I hardwired my V1, but then I sold my V1 without the hardwire kit

I now have a Passport 9500Xi

I already have the wire tapped and ground from my V1 hardwire, and the telephone cable thingy available to use

Can I just plug and play my passport?

or Do I need to use the supplied Passport hardwire kit and re-do the hard-wire itself?

Thanks a bunch

The line from the V1 (looks like a phone cord) should work with the 9500 no problem.

Yep. Plug and play. Same connector, same voltage, etc.

I'm about to buy a V1.. Why did you switch and what are the benefits of the Passport 9500xi compared to the V1..?

Thanks!

For me it was the ability of the Passport being able to store locations of false alarms. You pass the same warning about 3 times and it'll automatically mute that signal at that location.
