Insurance Providers Help

Hi guys,
Gieco has quoted a 6 month policy at around $700.00. What companies is everyone else using? Ofcourse I am trying to find somewhere a little cheaper or is this a good price?

Thx All!

Your coverage and deductibles will play a big part in the cost calculation. Try Progressive because they give you several quotes instead of just one. Personally, I use Erie because I get a discount for having home owners through them and I'm paying about $400 less per year than what you were quoted (1k/yr).

Totally depends on your age, where u live & your driving record.
If your under 30? sounds good to me.

I have Geico and pay $988.00 year only 200 deductible.
Fantastic for NY but I have spotless record & driving over 30 years.

Progressive was worst company for me when I was checking rates.
They wanted $400.00/year more than Geico. They are freaking nuts!

I used this student insurance program to get some quotes (very inaccurate), oddly enough Progressive's quote was lower than any of those. I will try Geico next.

Hmm not for me. Mine is about 1400 a year with Progressive. Even though I do everything through USAA they wanted a much higher price for the type of coverage I wanted.
I'm 24 with 2 tickets, single, live in GA
-500 Deductable
- BODILY INJURY LIABILITY $500,000/$1,000,000
PROPERTY DAMAGE LIABILITY $250,000
MEDICAL PAYMENTS $500,000
UNINSURED/ UNDERINSURED MOTORIST $250,000/$250,000
RENTAL REIMBURSEMENT
and a couple other things

Seriously if someone is floating around with minimal coverage on their car and they hit me no way can they cover the payment for my car, my medical bills and any property damage. With the prices of cars, and medical payments so expensive having such low insurance when the accident is your fault is just asking for a lawsuit or a settlement claim.

If they charge more than what the insurance covers...guess where it comes from...you.

All it takes is one time and you are competely out for life facing ridicious medical, property, or injury bills.

Nah...they didn't push it, I'd trade before or soon after the warranty is over. I also decline medical (have my own) and $1m umbrella policy (the only thing they were trying to sell really). I set up the policy through the website and a few days later some lady called trying to push the $1m umbrella policy, on account that she noticed we have a 2006 BMW and that it is a nice car and there are a lot of loonies out there waiting to take advantage

Btw, I see you did pretty well....is that an NJ zip code?
