Got My windows tinted but......

I got my windows tinted today with pinnacle tint ,she showed me the 40% and the 35% and metered both. The 40% came out at 39% and the 35% came out as 33% on the factory windows metered, The legal limit is 35% in NC with a 2% flux. Being that the car has to be inspected annually I decided to go with the 40%. the lady at the tint shop said that some inspection stations meters are not calibrated properly and that they could be a point or two off. So being that I have 2 points on my license. I decided to go with 40%, I wish it was darker anyone else have 40%? and unhappy with it?

It is perfect for NC amigo. Never getting bothered is worth going "lighter"...

I can't imagine 40%. I run 5 on the back and 20 sides wearing dark sunglasses. I've been reading on here about people running 40-50 on the windshield as well.

40s way better than nothing

You get points on your license for tint??

In Maryland we just have to take it off if its lower then 35% and there is no fine.

I dont think we get point taken off, but i spent 400 bucks on template cut ceramic tint dont really want have it taken off.

Also I was just thinking I have rear power shade on my sedan, I noticed last week that the wheels on the power shade touch the window on the way up is this gonna mess up the tint?
