While almost anything on this planet is possible with the right amount of resources, from everything that I've read, a retrofit is not feasible without considerable work.

Yes, they're LED's.
The M-cars did not get them because an entire bumper change would have had to be done. They do look great, however, I like that the M cars don't have them since that differentiates our cars a bit more than the LCI LED's on the non-M cars. You can go AiB, Lux kit, HID kit, or some simple pop-in GP Thunders for more white than the nasty yellow. Of course, there's OSS too.

Fsarc - yeah, I'm still running the GP Thunders... TBH, they're not that bad and I like them, better than OEM.
I haven't tried the AiB's yet but they're probably the next mod I'll do... Unless I bite the bullet and go with OSS. I just need to see the AiB's in person first. For $25 the GP Thunders are a great solution...

so with the new headlights
if one of the LEDs goes bad, you replace the entire headlight? or do they sell the LED as a replacement bulb? |

i think i can answer my own question
here is the parts list part 13 is listed as : 13 Repair kit for LED module TAGFAHRLICHT 2 63117263051 costs $196.30 from Tischer so that's already $400 just for the LEDs then you have to find out how to fit them to a non LCI headlight can anyone with a LCI take some pics of the inside of the headlight? |
