IND and Bastuck announce E92 M3 Motorsport exhaust!

Along with Bastuck’s new street E92 M3 system, IND has worked directly with Bastuck GMBH to create this brand new type of exhaust system for the BMW community. This is a new concept that is unique among exhausts sold to the general public.

Where the Bastuck Clubsport system is designed to be a wonderful GT style exhaust with a truly amazing tone, perfect volume levels for all occasions, and a great street look that highlights the already awesome BMW M3, the Bastuck Motorsport system is an all out attempt at the best performance possible.

Using the lightest muffler technology with the least possible restriction, the Bastuck Motorsport exhaust is not simply a “louder” system, it is an exhaust that makes no compromises. The Bastuck Motorsport system uses 3” piping for best possible flow, and best of all can be swapped back to the Bastuck Clubsport system with just a few bolts for easy changes from a street to track setup. It’s easy to drive to client meetings, work, and around your neighborhood with the Street system, and change it Friday night to the Motorsport exhaust, for a weekend at the track.

If you guys want to sell the motorsport version you should change it to 4 tips like all other exhausts. The two tip setup you have shown will probably not be very popular.

Single tips are the lightest possible configuration. Running quad tips on the Motorsport exhaust would have been counterproductive.

That does make sense, but the weight difference shouldn't be more than a few pounds, which in such a low area on the vehicle shouldn't matter. Also, if weight was a concern you should have went with titanium and did the four tip setup which would have probably resulted in an even lighter overall package. I am sure its a great exhaust, but based on previous experience from the e46 m3, dual tip mufflers are not very popular. An example of a good racing exhaust is probably the gruppe m system for the e46m3, which was light (12 pounds) had four tips, and was made out of titanium. For me personally quad tips is a must, but you guys have sure built a nice system nevertheless.

Titanium is not a TUV approved material, as it is too brittle to make a robust reliable exhaust. It's not legal to make Titanium exhausts in Germany- they're too fragile.

Z06's have Ti exhausts stock. I know they don't sell a lot in Germany but I thought they do sell them.

The new porsche GT2 has a stock TI exhaust, and also eisenman made a TI exhaust for the e46 m3 which was made in Germany.

Nice looking system guys. I have the Bastuck Performance system on my 335i and I love it.

When I was in stationed in germany, I had my E46 M3 and we could not have Ti exhaust on our cars it was not TUV/Street legal.

Bastuck is big in Germany! I have been a motorsport fan for years!

There's a difference between manufacturing an exhaust and having it legalized.

Bastuck faces the same problems we have, manufacturing standards are very high, higher than anything in the US.

I am curious, isn't eisenman based in Germany, and don't they make a ti exhaust. Also, I know Ruff and gemballa make ti exhaust.

They can make the exhaust, but they cannot have it EC/TUV approved.
Gemballa outsources most of their exhausts, we manufactured exhausts for them for the 996 porsches. Not sure about Ruf.
