e92 ZCP to e90 non ZCP
I got a good deal on springs/struts from a 2013 e92 ZCP.
I know the part numbers are different, and even the springs vary within the ZCP models depending on options the car has. the E90 is very close in weight to the e92 - has anyone installed e92 zcp setup to an e90 with regular EDC? I'll have it coded, but i'm curious if there are any major differences that could potentially make the car handle poorly. |

The struts are different part numbers from BMW. There are a few posts in this forum regarding retrofitting the ZCP. Mainly E90 --> E90 and E92 --> E92 though ...
I personally waited for someone to sell ZCP EDC E90 set-up to retrofit to my non ZCP E90. Not sure what the results would be crossing the struts over ... may not even fit correctly.

I think if you look at factors such as corner weights and wheelbase, you can determine if there may be any detrimental affect with putting e92 zcp setup on an e90.
I would like to at least know if the struts would bolt up.. (I would think they would) I got the ZCP setup for $250 off a 2013 e92 with 5k miles, so I'm hoping i can make it work |
