FS: ESS 535 Supercharger Kit (ESS Black Edition)
ESS 535 Supercharger Kit - Asking $6,800 - ESS Black Edition Manifold (Polished black) - 3000 miles on this kit. - You'll have to pay for software from ESS I'll be honest here. This kit provides the perfect amount of power. I'm going to miss it very much. I've been weighing my pros and cons over the last few weeks and decided it's just best for me to remove this from my car because I do 10-15 track days a year. More weight and more heat at the track just isn't optimal for me. On the street it's just perfect. Runs very cool and pulls hard. In the lower rpms you wouldn't even know you had a supercharger if it weren't for the menacing whine coming from the engine bay. So this is a hard decision, but I know whoever is just looking for more power will be very happy with it. So if you are seriously interested, PM me and we can talk. I live in the San Francisco bay area and would prefer to sell locally, but I can ship out anywhere in the US if needed.

Not with the Black edition manifold. That's about another grand extra.

$6800 + 1000 Install (and this is just an estimate) + 1000 Tune = 8800. And don't forget about paying tax for the new kit. Obviously I can't compete with some company offering free 6 hours of labor on the install and that's not a deal available to anyone who isn't local to that shop. So it might not be a good price for you, but no need to crap all over my thread. You should jump on that deal if you can get free installation.

You mean the fact that he did the math wrong and added $1000 to the cost of buying my kit and another 1000 for install just because he happens to live local to a shop that does free supercharger installs? What about the taxes involved when purchasing new? Right.

Maybe someone local or does not live in So Cal is looking for this SC, then it's a great deal for them. If someone in So Cal is looking, then maybe a good deal, not a great deal. GLWS.

Are you sure the install is $1000? If so I would seriously considering it. I believe this is the one I saw at Alek shop the other day? I asked his how much for the install he quoted me $2000 dollars.

Anyways good luck to you. Don't see how a kit with 10-15 track days should be sold 5-10 percent under new market cost. All you people disagreeing you can buy it yourself. |

The kit has seen 4 track days. Been on my car for 3000 miles. You have misread pretty much everything in this thread.

I'm sure install pricing varies. Average time is 6-8 hours. I believe the kit you saw at Alekshop is the 600 kit which takes more time to install than the 535. My kit is still on my car. I was using the 1000 dollar price point as an example since 1cleanm3 used that for his argument.
