golf vacations?

hey guy,

A couple buddies and I want to go on a little (3-4day) golf vacation between feb 22nd and march 1st. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good golf destinations that wont break our pockets to much. We are thinking of spending $700-900. Any good websites to look at?

We were thinking, Vegas or Florida (Arizona). Somewhere warm, nightlife doesnt need to be amazing, as long as there are a few bars around. open to suggestions. cheers

Been looking into hitting California in the off season (if one exists) Palmsprings, Monterey, etc...

Maybe skip over to LaJolla for some see side golf. Probably cheaper than Monterey, lodging will be for sure.

Its super top end, its pretty cool when you show up and go down to the locker room they carve your name into a plaque and put it on your locker for that day. Also when you go out and play chances are you will be the only foursome around. Tiger, when in vegas, goes here and practices all the time I guess according to the staff.

Cascata is awesome but yes pricey. I went on a Tuesday once as a single and didnt see anyone else on the course. Greens are slick too.

Myrtle beach, plenty of courses, there are bars but I wouldn't head there if you are trying to hookup, but golf packages are rediculously cheap. I am heading there in march with a group and 5 rounds with 3 night accommodations, $336 a person.

Myrtle is great also Check out Pinhurst... been to each a couple times and there are great deals at both of them. We are going to Orlando in April for a trip. Luckily I am friends with the Palmer Family, As in Arnie... I grew up with his Nephew in Latrobe, PA. We are going to be playing Bay Hill and a few other courses in the area.

Not sure exactly, someone else set everything up, call Myrtle beach golf vacations and see what they can put together.
