I have seen 1 dead G-Power engine in Germany at Manhart - of course no pictures, but I saw it! Is that enough of intelligence?! And also I know about more engine-blows worldwide...

It's nothing special, it's just one of our MFlight with DCT getting smoke and me hiding in the back seat because it was so so so fast......

Actually the 6.83 run is on a 3.19% decline, just to be sure I've had it confirmed by another source who has verified thousands of 60-130 Vbox pulls, and the way the rules are setup now it is not valid. However, the car near sea level, on less of a decline, might be capable of an even better time.

Uh no...your first comment was vague and childish! This one is a much better however, I would ask you to provide more details for myself and the rest of the community please. Thank You

I was the one that ran the vbox pulls, but they basically confirmed that its making a little over 600rwhp SAE (650+rwhp in the favorable conditions in which the run was made):

I don't know whether its really pushing 9.5psi, but it is within the realm of possibility. A dyno with boost logs would certainly help settle the debate, but since the kit requires 95octane the point is kind of moot for those in the States...

But the exhaust note will change. Like I said, it sounded like an other Akra-equipped M3 but I also said that I wouldn't say whether or not the motor was built or not based on that.

When Chris was in LA last year, he told me he was developing a Gpower water injection kit, that's why I assumed he would be running it now. It doesn't make a difference, it's just for cooling.

I know what a water/meth kit does and yes, it does cool, which in turn lets you run more boost because the intake charge temp is lower.

Check out the RGM superharger. It runs 0,65 bar of boost on pump fuel and no water meth. I think the high boost is asking for reliability issues, so I went ESS IMO

Honestly, I like the ESS kit too. The stock-look profile is three thumbs up for me. I just don't like the idea of cutting pieces. I'm definitely getting the ESS when Im done with my deployment.

Okay, here's the video with Chris driving his GP SK3. It's not all that exciting but the comparison is. The other M have a DCT.

You like that it costs half the price of the GPower kit, even with a VAT form...don't forget to mention that as well.

I don't think Norway accepts VAT form from Germany but I'll ask ESS for military discount lol. Even at the beginning I was leaning towards the ESS because of it's simple design and simplicity. Plus the DIY kit which I'd like to do it myself.

Yeah that is a definite plus. If you have issues, i'm sure some German tuning shop would be able to help out.

No doubt, you should do that 600whp at 7psi on 93 octane setup! Bro, next time do it on a flat or slight decline stretch, not incline!

So I just watched the video... DAMN! It felt faster but I didn't think it would walk a stock M3! The other one even had a head start and rolled up on him at speed!
