headlight
anyone taking apart the driver and passenger headlight housing for painting....i want to paint all the chrome housing to the color of my car.....think its a good idea, anyone done this yet, and how

I wouldnt do it.... this headlight assembly isnt something you can buy on ebay. Its very expensive!!! Plus you could never get it to seal right again

Actually, the headlight housing can be resealed properly. BMW used a soft silicone to glue it all together, so if done with the right epoxy, they should reseal just fine. That's why I'm going to seal each crevice multiple times.
