Trade the 325xi on a 330xi ?

I'm toying with the idea of trading in my '06 325xi on an '06 330xi. I'm putting out feelers on prices right now but not sure if it's actually worth it. - the 325 only has about 2500 miles on it. I would def. lose on the deal but it's a matter of how much I'm willing to lose I suppose. If it's less than $1K it may be worth it (but somehow I doubt I'll find a deal that will allow me to only lose $1K). Whatcha think??

Taxes alone will blow away your $1000 threshold. There has been a number of "325 regret, desire 330, cost of upgrade" posts before. Executive summary: enjoy your car for 2, 3 or 4 years and then upgrade.

Thanks for the replies! The taxes would be over $1K so I figured a $1K loss (plus tax) on the 325. I agree about keeping the 325 for a couple years before upgrading - but I'm interested to see what the local dealerships offer. Not only is the extra power an attractive incentive in the 330 but the sports steering wheel and seats are something I regret not having. Overall I love my 325 though!! Quick off topic question.... I was reading a post on bimmerfest concerning the old xi vs i argument: do people out there actually believe AWD hinders driving and is only really good for snow (with a RWD w/ snow tires being better than AWD)?

LOL....Executive Summary: YES!

I personally got 330i with a snow tire setup and it handles better in the snow than my FWD Honda Accord. I originally was going to get a 330xi, but changed my mind after doing research and I'm glad I have what I have now.
